Sergio Rozenblat is a father of five wonderful children and has been with his wife for 25 years. He is also a proud grandfather ("Zeide") to 4 adorable little ones, who currently live in Georgia. His family, his children, his grandkids, and his godson mean the world to him, as well as his extended family and friends. Sergio is definitely a family man.
Sergio was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina and came to the United States at a very young age, and grew up in Flushing, New York. In 1980, he moved to South Florida and has been living in the Parkland/Coral Springs area for over 20 years with his wife, Lissette, who is Cuban-American, and together they share his two youngest children, 16 and 20.
He is an avid New York Rangers ice hockey fan but is also partial to the Florida Panthers, as his two youngest kids are huge fans. He has shared his love of hockey with all of his kids - all three of his sons play hockey and his daughters are hockey fans as well.
The majority of Sergio's career has been spent in the music entertainment business having started out in marketing and promotion with Gloria Estefan and the Miami Sound Machine and worked with some of the industry's greatest Latin musical talent throughout the years, as the general manager for a Latin music label. He is also very active in the community, as an advocate for gun reform and safety, as his youngest daughter is a survivor of the Parkland school shooting. His goal is to bring about awareness for school and gun safety and to help prevent tragedies like the one in Parkland from happening again.
Sergio loves life, is passionate about protecting his loved ones, is a music lover, is a voracious reader and loves all things history. He is a loyal family man, who adores his grand kids, and spending time with his best friends, who he has known since his late teen years. He also spent many years as a hockey dad helping coach youth hockey at the local ice rink. He has been a coach and mentor to many.
Sergio hopes to be well enough to visit his grand kids soon and make special memories with them.
Sergio needs a new kidney, as his Creatinine levels have been consistently increasing, causing his only kidney to slowly lose its function consequently, leading to constant fatigue and recent hospital visits.
